TURKEYBOWL
THE TECHNICAL STUFF
Please review the following information before registering for the Turkey Bowl Classic. By completing your registration and submitting payment, you acknowledge the tournament's registration procedures, format, and participation guidelines outlined below.
REGISTRATION & ELIGIBILITY
All golfers must complete the official Turkey Bowl Classic registration form to participate.
Participants may register with an existing playing partner, register individually and request a partner, or register separately from a partner who has already signed up.
Each participant must provide their full name, email address, phone number, and golf handicap (official or estimated).
Golfers registering as a pair will remain paired together throughout tournament play. Individual registrants requesting a partner will be matched by the tournament organizers.
Registration is subject to availability and is not considered confirmed until the applicable payment has been received and verified.
TOURNAMENT ENTRY & PAYMENT
The tournament entry fee is $200 per golfer, or $400 per two-person pair.

Payments are processed through the tournament's designated PayPal checkout.

During checkout, participants must select the appropriate payment quantity:
-
Quantity 1 ($200): Payment for one golfer.
-
Quantity 2 ($400): Payment for both golfers in a pair.

If one participant pays for both golfers, their partner is still required to complete their individual registration information.

Participants whose entry has already been paid for by their partner should not submit an additional payment.

Submitting a registration form or accessing the payment page does not automatically confirm entry. Payment must be verified by tournament organizers.
REGISTRATION CONFIRMATION
Registrations may remain pending until payment has been verified.

For two-person pairs, both golfers must be registered and the full $400 entry fee must be accounted for before the pair is considered fully confirmed.

Tournament organizers will use registration information to match partners, verify payment, and organize teams.

Final team assignments and additional event information will be communicated before the tournament.

team assignments & tournament format
Following the close of registration, tournament captains will be appointed.

Captains will review the registered two-person pairs and organize them into skill-based tiers using the handicap information provided.

Captains will then draft pairs to create balanced teams with golfers of varying skill levels.

Registered pairs will remain together throughout the tournament.

Each pair will be assigned to a foursome for the round. Although two pairs may play together, each pair's score contributes toward its larger drafted team's overall result.
scoring & competition
The tournament uses a team-based scoring format.

Each pair will record one gross score per hole. No handicap adjustments will be applied to tournament scores.

At the conclusion of the round, the 18-hole gross scores of all pairs on each drafted team will be combined.

The team with the lowest combined score wins the tournament.

All pair scores count toward the team's final result.
CASH PRIZE POOL & AWARDS
$100 from each golfer's $200 entry fee will be allocated to the tournament cash prize pool.

Prize money will be awarded based on the final team results and tournament prize structure.

The final prize pool, number of participating teams, and applicable prize distribution will be communicated before the event.
EVENT SCHEDULE & FINAL DETAILS
The tournament is planned to begin with an approximately 8:00 AM shotgun start, subject to confirmation with the golf course.

Check-in and breakfast will take place before the start.

Following the round, scores will be collected, final team standings will be calculated, and the tournament will conclude with awards, raffles, and a post-round gathering.

Final event-day details and instructions will be communicated to registered participants.
